Canby Police catch UUMV suspects

On 1-22-08 at 2:45am Canby Police arrested three suspects for UUMV after a failed attempt to take a motorcycle from 172 NE 4th in Canby.

The motorcycle was a Honda CRF250 that the suspects took from the back of a pickup truck at that location.

Two suspects, a adult male and 17 year old juvenile male, were seen in that area by police and dumped the motorcycle and fled the scene. The juvenile suspect ran into an apartment at 175 NE 5th in an attempt to hide from the police officers.

The suspect did not know the residents of the apartment and they did not know him. The juvenile suspect ran in the unlocked rear sliding door of the apartment that was occupied by two adults and two sleeping children.

Officers located the juvenile suspect exiting the front of the apartment and took him into custody. The juvenile suspect was charged with UUMV, Criminal Trespass I, and Possession of a Burglar Tool.

The adult suspect, who was identified as LEVI CURTIS BROCK DOB: 11-26-89 of Canby, was located a few minutes later at his residence in the 800 block of NE 16th in Canby.

BROCK was arrested and charged with UUMV and Possession of Burglars Tools. He was lodged at Clackamas County Jail.

Another 16 year old male juvenile, who was located in a pickup truck a block from the scene, was arrested for Conspiracy to Commit UUMV.

This juvenile was waiting for the other two suspects to bring the stolen motorcycle and place it in the back of his pickup so he could take it away.

The 16 year old juvenile was charged and released to his parents. The 17 year old juvenile suspect was lodged at Clackamas County Juvenile Center.

The case is being referred to the Clackamas County District Attorney's Office.
