October 15, 2007 3:32 PM CANBY POLICE ARREST 4 ADULTS AND 1 JUVENILE DURING NARCOTICS SEARCH WARRANT.. 3 MONTH OLD BABY REMOVED FROM APARTMENT On October 12, 2007 at 10:55am Canby Police Department's Tactical Entry Team executed a narcotics related search warrant at 367 SE 2nd ave in Canby, Oregon. Team members and Detectives located three adults, a 17 year old female, and a three month old baby inside the apartment. During the search of the one bedroom apartment that was shared by four of the suspects and the baby, Detectives located methamphetamine and evidence of the sales and manufacture of methamphetamines.
The bedroom had only two mattresses on the floor and there was no crib for the baby in the apartment. Detectives located a methamphetamine pipe next to a breast pump and other baby items. Team members and Canby Police Detectives arrested four adults and one 17
year old female juvenile from the location: A 17 year old femaile juvenile, who is also the mother of the 3 month old infant, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, distribution of a controlled substance, manufacture of a controlled substance, child neglect I, and endangering the welfare of a minor. The four adults were lodged at Clackamas County Jail and the 17 year old female was lodged at Clackamas County Juvenile Department. The case is being referred to the Clackamas County District Attorney.
