Canby Police Department Press Release
April 12th, 2007 10:43 AM CANBY POLICE K9 JALK'S MRI HAS BEEN DONATED. Canby Police Department K9 Jalk's MRI costs have been donated by VDIC of Clackamas. VDIC is a Veterinary Imaging group that is located next to NW Veterinary Specialists in Clackamas. Jalk will be scanned in the MRI today at 3:00pm. This MRI scan will give us the much needed answers to Jalk's condition and if surgery is an option. Donations have been coming in, including two MRI Imaging Centers in Salem that were willing to donate their technicians and MRI equipment to scan Jalk. Donations are still needed to help cover the cost of Jalk's surgery if that does occur. Canine Officer Chris Mead and K9 Jalk invite members of the media to attend the MRI scan at 3:00pm today. The address is 16900 SE 82nd Drive in Clackamas, Oregon. Officer Mead, Jalk, and his family want to thank the community for their continued support.
