EMBEZZLEMENT SUSPECT PLEADS GUILTY AFTER EMBEZZLING $500,000 FROM A LOCAL CANBY BUSINESS

Embezzlement suspect KARRI RACHEL COLLINS DOB: 7-2-69 plead guilty to Four counts of Theft I in Clackamas County Circuit Court yesterday. COLLINS was arrested after a search warrant was served at her residence in Canby on May 8, 2006.

COLLINS embezzled $500,000 from a Canby business called Classic Touch Homes.

COLLINS was the bookkeeper for the business and wrote herself checks from the business account and deposited the checks into her personal account. She used the money she took for personal items including a breast enhancement operation.

COLLINS is scheduled for sentencing in March at Clackamas County Circuit Court.
